CHANGE JIOFI USERNAME AND PASSWORD
Now to log in to the JioFi's network, the user's must search the SSID or the system ID using jio Wi-Fi on a smartphone or a PC. Then, type the random letters and numbers as the password, to connect the new device.The password, printed on the backside of the battery is different for every JioFi hotspot device. It is always best to change the personal SSID and a password, you can change these settings very quickly by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the browser you use which can be chrome or firefox or opera etc.
Step 2: Open the browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press the enter key.
Step 3: when the admin page opens click on the login button which at the top right corner of the page.
Pro Tip: You can also open admin page by entering jiofi.local.html in the browser address bar instead of 192.168.1.1.Step 4: In the pop-up window that appears on the screen, type 'administrator' for both username and password window and then click on the login button.
Step 5: Click on the settings button which is just below the Jio logo at the top.
Step 6: Click on WiFi from the left-hand panel.
Step 7: replace the old password with the new one.
Step 8: Find the security key from the list and delete the existing one and enter the new Wi-Fi password.
Step 9: Click on Apply button and select OK to confirm the changes.
This process will restart the JioFi 2, so you have to be patient for a while. In the meantime, this will cause a disconnection between the internet and the current device as well as all the other devices connected to that network. Once JioFi 2 restarts, you can reconnect to the wifi with the new password.

- In this, you have to enable the storage account and then set the username and the password.
- You can now access the SD card information to all the connected devices in your Jiofi.
- Then access the files by entering the given URL below http://jiofi.local.html/sdcard.html or http://jiofi.local.html
- Click on the Wifi Disk button. Then use the sd card username and the password.
- Now it can access the Storage Slot. Then You can upload your files, and you can copy the pics or files to your PC / Laptop from your jiofi router.
